They really need to get rid of it at this point though and just let us log right into the game with minimal input, DCing is a horrible experience when you have multiple characters.
The idea itself was pretty neat and ahead of its time, it kinda reminds me of a form of discord. POL is another one of SE's ideas gone wrong because they abandoned it. Maybe its a feed from that lodestone site but every single time I open it, they have cash shop new items.
The xiv launcher is def better as you can get into the game very fast, but you can't deny it isn't stuffed with ads for their cash shop. Its only natural people who like XI probably wont like XIV, not sure why that still bothers people on a forum for XI. Lol then you have the opposite end of the isle, this guy who is ready to jump and defend XIV to the death any time its mentioned. The $1000 Y'shtola doll is much more affordable than the FFVI $11,000 Terra and Magitek armor statue. special, I wouldn't bother talking about XIV with him even though he brings it up. Just use the same type of launcher for XI. If your jimmies are that rustled by the fact that XIV exists, it doesn't even need to share the same launcher. If it weren't for the fact that your sole reason for hating the launcher is the fact that it's tied to XIV I'd almost agree with you, but your argument is *** stupid and that is not a valid reason to intentionally want something blatantly worse. So I just commission stuff from artists instead, I found a lot thru Etsy actually. I tried collecting all the merch until I came to the realization that theres barely any of it and a lot of it is kinda ugly. Looks like they did have a mini figurine set at some point in the past, probably only available in Japan. I could keep going with this, but at $15 a figure or like $50 for the big bosses, I'm already printing SE some serious bank here.

Series 1 could be yagudo, orc, quadav, and goblin (melee and caster variants of each), kindred, mandragora, korrigan, and citrullus as a chase figure. I don't think XI has anything as marketable as the XIV job icons are, but maybe some keychains/magnets/whatever with the emblems of the nations or acrylic statues of some of the heroines/villains? I tried finding some XI-themed gifts for friends who used to play and there really wasn't much out there on SE's store or Etsy/etc.īlind box vinyl figures of iconic characters and enemies. I wouldn't mind some actual merchandise too.
